전치사 Prepositions

위치를 나타내는 부사에서 유래하여 앞의 명사와 뒤의 명사의 상대적인 위치, 관계 등을 나타내는 품사입니다. 

이에 대응하는 한국어의 품사로 조사가 있습니다. 

주어+동사+목적어(SVO), 동사+주어+목적어(VSO) 어순의 언어들이 이런 전치사형 언어인 경우가 일반적입니다.

반면에 주어+목적어+동사(SOV) 어순의 언어들은 후치사를 선호하는 경향을 보입니다.
